Integrasi Kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Pendidikan Karakter: Analisis Efektivitas dan Strategi Implementasi
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the Islamic education curriculum and its role in achieving character education objectives. In the context of Islamic education, student character development is a crucial aspect that should align with religious values. Using a qualitative research method, data was collected from curriculum documents, interviews with educators, and observations at several Islamic educational institutions. The analysis results indicate that the Islamic education curriculum has significant potential in shaping student character; however, challenges in its implementation exist, such as a lack of understanding among teachers regarding the integration of character values in teaching. This study recommends enhancing training for educators and developing more applicable teaching materials to support the achievement of character education objectives. Consequently, this research contributes to the development of a more effective curriculum within the context of Islamic education
