The Merdeka Curriculum brings changes to the learning process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) by emphasizing flexibility, student-centered learning, and character development through the integration of the Pancasila Student Profile values. The instructional design of PAI focuses not only on delivering subject matter but also on developing students’ understanding, religious attitudes, and skills comprehensively. This study aims to analyze the instructional design model of PAI based on the Merdeka Curriculum. The research uses a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach by reviewing relevant scientific sources. The findings show that PAI instructional design emphasizes flexibility in selecting learning strategies, methods, and media according to students’ needs. Learning is implemented through differentiated and project-based approaches that encourage active student participation. Assessment is conducted through authentic assessment covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects to describe students’ knowledge, attitudes, and skills development comprehensively.
