Implementasi Metode Pembiasaan dalam meningkatkan Karakter Religius Siswa
Abstract
Religious Character is a nature, psychological traits, morals or manners that distinguish a person from others, religious is a strong character in embracing and practicing religion and as a reflection of oneself for his obedience to the teachings of the religion he adheres to. Religious character in this thesis is formed through the habit of Compulsory Learning to Read the Qur'an before learning begins which is believed to be able to improve students' religious character. The objectives of this study are: To determine the habit of students' Compulsory Learning to Read the Qur'an, to determine students' religious character, and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving students' religious character through the habit of Compulsory Learning to Read the Qur'an at MTsN 4 Banjarmasin. This type of research is field research conducted using a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were the Principal, Supervisory Teacher, Administrative Matters, and Students. The object of the research is the Habit of Reading the Qur'an in Improving Students' Religious Character at MTsN 4 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation of data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study indicate that the habit of compulsory reading of the Qur'an in improving students' religious character is to produce a habit of students getting better every day, this is based on the increasing awareness of students. There are supporting factors including relevant and adequate activity facilities and infrastructure, motivation or support and attention from the board of teachers and parents and the community, and students' reading abilities which are already quite good, the inhibiting factors experienced come from the students themselves who are sometimes not orderly when the activity starts and are not disciplined with time.
