Islamic Religious Education faces significant challenges in adapting teaching materials in the rapidly evolving digital era. The development of information technology presents both opportunities and challenges for creating teaching materials that are not only relevant but also engaging and effective in enhancing learning. This article aims to identify and develop innovative strategies in the design of IRE teaching materials that can improve the quality of learning in the digital age. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis to explore the potential of technology in developing IRE teaching materials. The findings indicate that the use of technologies such as learning apps, interactive videos, e-books, and online learning platforms can enrich students' learning experiences, making IRE materials more engaging and easier to understand. Additionally, the application of digital elements such as gamification, multimedia-based learning, and the use of social media for discussions and knowledge sharing has proven effective in increasing student engagement. However, to optimize these strategies, teacher training is necessary to effectively and creatively utilize technology. Therefore, the development of innovative IRE teaching materials in the digital era is expected to improve the quality of religious education, deepen students' understanding of Islamic teachings, and prepare a generation that is both intellectually competent and morally upright
