Analisis Mendalam Asbabun Nuzul: Peran, Metodologi, dan Pengaruhnya dalam Memahami Makna Ayat Al-Qur’an

Abstract

Asbabun Nuzul, or the circumstances surrounding the revelation of Qur'anic verses, plays a crucial role in understanding the context and deeper meaning of these verses. This study explores the role of Asbabun Nuzul as a key to revealing the historical background influencing the revelation, and how its methodology aids interpreters (mufassir) in accurately grasping the intended meaning of the verses. This approach not only provides insight into the specific messages within the verses but also helps prevent misinterpretations that could arise from understanding the verses out of context. This article also examines the influence of Asbabun Nuzul on the development of both classical and modern tafsir (interpretive studies) and highlights the importance of integrating Asbabun Nuzul into tafsir studies to enhance understanding of Qur'anic teachings.
