Abstract
Islamic Religious Education in the digital era faces new challenges and opportunities in developing relevant and effective teaching materials for the millennial generation. This article aims to explore strategies for developing IRE teaching materials in the digital age, with a focus on innovation and its implementation to address the characteristics and needs of millennials. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, examining various digital learning models that have been applied in religious education. The results of the study indicate that the use of technology, such as mobile apps, educational videos, and online learning platforms, can enhance students' interest and understanding of IRE materials. Innovations in material presentation, such as gamification, social media, and interactive content, have proven to be effective in increasing student engagement and involvement. On the other hand, the implementation of these strategies requires the preparedness of human resources, both teachers and students, as well as adequate access to technology. Therefore, it is important for educational institutions to develop training programs for teachers to optimally utilize technology and present IRE materials that are not only relevant but also enhance understanding and the practice of moderate and applicable religious teachings. Thus, the strategy for developing IRE teaching materials in the digital era is expected to create a millennial generation that is not only intellectually capable but also strong in spiritual and moral aspects
